Social media manager

Location: Gurgaon (on site)
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience: 1–3 years

Looking for: A Social Media Manager. Someone who lives on the feed and knows exactly why some things travel and some things die.

Here's the honest version of the job.

We make ad films and content for consumer brands. A lot of it lives or dies online, and you'd be the person running all of it — Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X — for us and for the brands we work with.

This isn't a scheduling job. You're in the ideas from the start, not handed a finished film and asked to caption it.

What you'd actually be doing:

— Running our accounts across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and X, each in its own voice
— Planning the calendar. Posts, stories, carousels, what goes where and when
— Writing the captions, hooks, descriptions and titles — the words are half the post
— Living in the comments. Replying, starting things, keeping the page alive between posts
— Making sure every DM gets a reply. A lot of good things start in there and we don't want them sitting unread
— Watching what's working and changing next week's plan because of it

What we're looking for:

— Someone who understands each platform as its own medium, not one post reformatted four times
— A person who thinks in hooks and first frames, and can tell in three seconds why a reel isn't working
— Someone who can write a caption people screenshot
— Someone who can move fast on a trend without making us look like we're chasing one
— Someone who's genuinely good with people in comments and DMs, because that's the brand talking
— Bonus if you can shoot and cut something yourself on a phone when the moment needs it

The style we love:

— Funny. Genuinely funny, not LinkedIn-funny.
— Bold. Confident enough to be the only thing in the feed that looks like itself.
— Fast. Some of the best posts have a shelf life of about four hours.
— Experimental. If the page has one format and never breaks it, something's gone wrong.

What to send:

  1. Links to accounts you've actually run. Handles, not descriptions.

  2. Three posts or reels you're proud of, and why they worked.

  3. One that flopped, and what you learned.

  4. One brand whose social you'd fix in a week, and how.

Show us the work. That's the whole interview, really.
