Video Editor
Location: Gurugram (On-site)
Type: Full-time
Experience: 2–5 years
Looking for: A Video Editor who can cut anything we throw at them and make it feel intentional.
Read this part before you scroll past.
If you only know how to cut one kind of video, this isn't the role.
If you can't say why a cut is two frames too long, this isn't the role.
If a revision at 9pm the night before a client presentation breaks you, this isn't the role.
We want an editor with instinct. Someone who watches a rough cut once and already knows which shot is dead weight. Someone whose timing is the reason a film is funny, not the script's.
What you'll actually be doing:
— Cutting brand films, ad films, event edits, AI-generated films and social cuts. Different formats every week.
— Colour grading. Not a LUT dropped on top — an actual grade that holds across a film.
— Sound design. Music, foley, mix. The thing that makes an AI-generated shot feel real.
— Working with generated footage, stitching it into something seamless, hiding the joins
— Taking a shoot or a folder of generations and finding the film inside it
— Turning things around fast when a client timeline moves, without the quality dropping
What we're looking for:
— 2–5 years of hands-on editing experience
— Strong on Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve/After Effects
— Real colour grading and sound design ability, not just "familiar with"
— Range. Funny cuts, emotional cuts, fast social cuts, clean brand-film cuts — you should be able to switch.
— Taste. The judgement to look at your own edit and know what's wrong with it before we tell you.
— Someone who holds up under pressure. Deadlines here are real and the work still has to be good.
— Curiosity about AI video. You don't have to be an expert yet, but you should want to be.
What to send:
Three edits in three different styles. Links, not a reel of everything mashed together.
One before-and-after — raw footage, then your graded and sound-designed cut. We want to see what you added.
One thing you cut in under 24 hours.
