One of the most fun briefs we've had in a while, for District by Zomato. The moment we read it, we knew the film wasn't about the event — it was about the twenty minutes before it, when you're still stuck in a meeting and your head has already left the building. Everyone has sat in that chair. That was the whole idea: if people recognise the feeling, the comedy writes itself. So we let the chairs do the acting. Five employees inching toward the door an inch at a time, every face dead serious, while the boss keeps turning back to the whiteboard. Getting that drift to read cleanly took far more attempts than the final cut suggests — we ended up blocking the entire cabin out in 3D before generating a single frame, just to keep everyone exactly where they were supposed to be. It came together sharper than we expected, and it's easily one of the most exciting films we've made in recent times.
